New Xiaomi fitness tracker smart band coming on 21 November


Xiaomi, one of the most popular smartphone brands in India has decided to launch a new Mi smart band launching on November 21 prior to its launch of Mi smart band 4 which was released two months earlier.

This news is officially confirmed by Xiaomi where its twitter India account has launched a teaser of 16 seconds of this fitness tracker few hours ago.

The released teaser has given us some ideas about the expected features of this fitness tracker and it is expected to be somewhat similar to the previous Mi smart band 4. The teaser is very short so it is difficult to tell about the details.

To make the launch of this fitness tracker more appealing to its users the brand has organized a run on 1st of December at the embassy techvillage in Bengaluru. The tickets for this event are already available and the interested persons can buy it from the Xiaomi website. Basically, there are two range of tickets available that is 3km and 8 km which will cost INR 300 and 800 respectively. The winner of this walk will be awarded the upcoming Mi smarty band and medals

As stated earlier the upcoming fitness tracker will be somewhat similar to its previous product that is Mi 4 band which comes up with 0.95 amoled display and can track multiple indoor and outdoor games from swimming to cycling including walking and running. Mi 4 band also supports music playback control which is connected via Bluetooth 5.0 LE and has a battery life of up to 20 days on a single charge.
