Samsung Galaxy S20 PlusBest Perfroming Smartphone

First of all, Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus is not the most powerful smartphone in the S20 series. If you are looking for the most powerful smartphone, you should consider the ‘Ultra’ variant of Galaxy S20. But to be honest, there is not much difference.

Though it’s not the top-end offering in the S20 series, still it is a powerful, feature-packed, and capable premium smartphone. This smartphone checks almost all the boxes that an ideal phone should have.

Design and Build

As expected, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus feels very premium. It has an aluminum frame, which looks rich. It has Gorilla Glass 6 on the front, Gorilla Glass 5 on the back, so it’s a well-protected smartphone. Looking at its front, the first thing you notice here is an almost bezel-less display panel.

At the back, you get to see a rectangular camera module which is located in the top left corner of the rear. This camera module is quite different from last year’s. All the other features like IP68 water resistance, stereo speakers, and microSD support is also there. Overall this smartphone looks modern, at the same time has that Samsung touch to it.

Samsung Galaxy Z FlipBest Amazon Smartphone

Folding phones were a thing of the future until the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip arrived. Of course, there were folding phones before the Galaxy Z Flip, but when this one came, it blew a lot of minds. So in simple words, it is a folding phone, which is premium in each category.

Design and Build

So design-wise, this smartphone looks fairly normal, apart from that folding thingy. The phone is divided into 2 parts. The finish is a bit on the brighter side. Overall for me, the gradient reflective finish was a bit flashy, but that’s just my opinion. The Galaxy Z Flip is an exceptionally well-built smartphone. Everything, from the hinge to the metal frame to the glass backs of the two halves, feels very premium.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip comes with a 6.7-inch touchscreen primary display with a resolution of 1080×2636 pixels. It has a pixel density of 425 pixels per inch (PPI). It also features a secondary display on the front lid. This tiny display is an OLED panel which is only 1.1-inches, with a resolution of 112×300 pixels at a pixel density of 303 pixels per inch (PPI). The only function of this display is to show basic information like the time, notifications, and media controls.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is powered by a 2.95GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor, which is a beefed-up version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip runs Android 10.

Camera

The Galaxy Z Flip features two rear cameras, though they can be used for selfies. This dual-camera setup is situated on the hood of the phone. The main sensor is a 12MP standard angle lens with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization, and the secondary sensor is a wide-angle lens with 12MP of resolution with a 123-degree field of view and no optical image stabilization. Plus there’s also a front camera inside. This camera is situated inside the cutout. It’s a 10MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture.

Battery

The Galaxy Z Flip is packed with a 3,300mAh battery capacity. This isn’t a lot considering today’s standards. But it should last you up to four to five hours. It supports 15W wired charging, which again is a bit slow. This smartphone also has wireless charging up to 9W.

Verdict

This isn’t a smartphone for everyone. If you want to experience something cools, which looks futuristic, and at the same time you want that premium and flagship performance, go with this one.

Samsung Galaxy A71Must Buy Smartphone

The Galaxy A-series is very popular in India. Samsung focuses on this lineup quite a lot. Especially the budget to the mid-range category of the A-series is very exciting. The Samsung Galaxy A71 is an upper mid-range smartphone, which is a good deal for your money.

Design and Build

The Samsung Galaxy A71 comes with a polycarbonate back. A polycarbonate back panel makes the phone more durable. But in the first glass, one might think of it as a glass panel, and I am saying it as a compliment.

The gradient design combined with the glossy coating makes the back look and feel like glass. But as it is made out of plastic, it doesn’t add too much weight to the device. The Galaxy A71 measures 163.6 x 76 x 7.7mm and weighs around 179g. It also retains a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is nice.
